Everyday/Going-Out Look!
Want to find a medium between going out and an everyday eye look? I love dramatic eye looks, its a fun way to dress up your makeup. Here's a smokey look for all over the lid! ... You can darken the crease to transition it to be more dramatic for going out. You're probably thinking OH NO... ANOTHER SMOKEY EYE LOOK! ... I can not get enough of smokey eyes because of my eye shape, it's easier to get away with these looks. Feel free to send requests for other looks!
Products used:
Color Tattoo by Maybelline - Audacious Asphalt
Black Matte Eyeshadow - ELF
Ivory Shimmer Eyeshadow - ELF
*ELF products are in the Day 2 Night quad.
Hue by MAC for lipstick - I love this nude-y pink color!
Eyelashes are from EBAY!
All over the lid is the Color Tattoo and I smoked out the black eyeshadow in my crease area to meet my highlight. The highlight is the ivory color.
HOPE YOU ENJOY! I'd love to see your smokey eye looks!

Stripes Trend! OUTFIT & MAKEUP
I absolutely adore the stripes trend! Recently got my hands on some striped high-waisted shorts too! Today for a day just to run errands, I threw on this striped shirt with puffy sleeves and red high-waisted shorts.
Top: Cotton On ($10)
Shorts: Forever21 ($13)
Top: Cotton On ($10)
Shorts: Forever21 ($13)
(more natural lighting)
I wanted to keep the look simple, but refreshing. I wore a complete face with Trace Gold sheer tone blush by MAC as a contour with Pink Passion and Candid Coral (both) by E.L.F. (mixed together for more natural look) for my blush. For my eye look, I used Too Cool (of course from the Maybelline Color Tattoo collection, I'M OBSESSED WITH!) all over my lid, with a medium brown in my crease to keep the look light, but add depth to my eyes. The Too Cool on my lid came be a more youthful with brighter eyes look. With no eyeliner, I just added the dramatic lashes by E.L.F. For my highlight, I used a nude shimmer color. Hope you guys enjoyed this look!

Cheetah Loafers? [ REVISED 09/18/12 ]
At first, I was NOT fan of the loafer trend, but it started to grow on me. Plus, I am a huge sucker for cheetah print shoes. I have cheetah print flats and booties already so these loafers were not necessarily needed, but they were on sale at Khols and I couldn't pass them up! Wanted to try out the look and I loved it. They gave an edge to my simple look today with just a white sleeveless button down and black dress shorts. If I were to add the flats, it would be more preppy, but I wanted a edge-y laid back look! What do you guys think of this trend?
[09/18/12]
It seems to be that animal print is here to STAY! It's a great way to throw some edge to a look or tone down a look as a neutral! I'm happy to share with you guys that TARGET is having a sale on their cheetah loafers (or tuxedo flats... as they call them!) Here is the link to the shoe (Comes in other prints and colors)! Happy shopping!

Black too harsh for you? SOLUTION!
Using black too harsh? I created a very VERY settle smokey eye using Tease from the Naked 2 Palette. The color is taupe-y and appears often grey-ish. With or without any other color on the lid, this color add definition to all eye shapes. I used a nude color for the lid and a matte white color for the highlight. Finished the look with the same Tease color on the outer corner of the bottom lash line. I think using bottom eyeliner often shrinks my eyes and because my eyes are water, it often runs, my solution was to always even the eye look with eyeshadow on the bottom lash line! Hope you enjoy!

Coral Lip
Another simple Spring look! Had my last final of the semester today first thing in the morning, so of course I had to throw my hair up in a messy bun. Had an icing smokey eye look today with all shimmery colors. My favorite part of this look besides my Forever 21 scarf were the coral lips. I achieved this look with the lip pencils from ELF cosmetics. I erased my lips with a concealer and went ahead and applied the lip pencil in the color "coral." Finished the look with small dabs of clear gloss. Coral is very popular this spring and often finding the perfect lipstick is difficult. The ELF lip pencil applies well and lasts a few hours. I would recommend this product. With the affordable price of only $3, this is a great alternative to trying out new lip colors!

April Showers Bring May Flowers
Kicking spring looks into high gear now! I wanted to look a bit dressy for my last day of lectures today! Dressed up my floral tank top from the Lauren Conrad collection at Kohls with a pale pink blazer from Forever21. Stacking bracelets is so popular now. Mixed pearls with some gold bangles and a neon yellow pyramid bracelet, which seemed to match my tank top perfectly! Threw in some green eyeliner to my eye look to complete the whole look. Used a glittery pink to buff out the colors with a brown in the crease and of course has Too Cool from the Color Tattoo collection by Maybelline.

A Little Skin Won't Hurt
It's getting warmer! ... Meaning we must look tanner to show off those amazing legs and arms we've been working out! Jergens Natural Glow Foam is something I always turn to ... especially during Winter when the sun wants to hide. It's a great product for any self-tanning because laying in your backyard isn't an option or expensive tanning salons! I usually apply to my legs and stomach after moisturizing right after a nice shower! It is a moisturizer, but using your own lotion won't hurt. Apply even amounts because you don't want a crooked tan! And remember to always wash your hands afterwards, but I recommend this product to anyone who needs a self-tanner that works!
Available at all drugstores! Prices may vary.

With the Waves
A simple spring look today. Do a golden brown crease from my Warm Palette from Coastal Scents with a blue winged eyeliner. I used Clash from Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil for the winged eyeliner. I placed the blue eyeliner directly above my normal winged liner to give the eye more drama.
