Settle yet BOLD smokey eye look

Please ignore my shininess! This picture was taken at the end of the night. Just thought I'd share this look since I loved it so much! Definitely a new go-to look for me!

I wanted to do a quick post on this eye look from the other night! I've really been into the smokey eye lately, but in different colors! All that was used for this look was Maybelline's Color Tattoo Rich Mahogany (from the Fall '12 collection) and a skin tone eyeshadow was used to smoke out the look. (I did add a smidge of black to my outter corner crease to give depth to my eyes.) For my highlight, I just used a light concealer ... which also perfected the brows! This look is great for a casual night out or date night with the girls! Feeling extra bold? I'd definitely wear this look during the day! I love bold makeup, but this is a toned down version for me! Ombre Trend

Ombre is a huge trend right now! So I wanted to give it a try with a makeup look. What better to try than ombre lipstick?! Used a red lip liner and a hot pink lipstick, followed by two lighter pink lipsticks while layering towards the center. To finish the look, I dabbed shimmer white eyeshadow in the center of my lips! What do you think? Wearable? I love it! Great way to dress up your makeup look this summer!

Summer Days Makeup

It's summer and we all know cake-faces don't last during the hot days. Having to touch up constantly isn't any girl's ideal day either. I've turned to using tinted moisturizers to make my makeup weight a bit lighter than usual. The two tinted moisturizers I've been using is Aveda's Tinted Moisture. It is SPF 15 and medium coverage. Though the coverage is not buildable, any concealer can fix that problem. This product was purchased from the Aveda salon at my local mall. On the days I need more coverage, I turn to my Urban Decay Tinted Moisturizer. This one is SPF 20 and paraben free. This has a buildable coverage, closer to a full coverage foundation. Everyday/Going-Out Look!

Want to find a medium between going out and an everyday eye look? I love dramatic eye looks, its a fun way to dress up your makeup. Here's a smokey look for all over the lid! ... You can darken the crease to transition it to be more dramatic for going out. You're probably thinking OH NO... ANOTHER SMOKEY EYE LOOK! ... I can not get enough of smokey eyes because of my eye shape, it's easier to get away with these looks. Feel free to send requests for other looks!

All over the lid is the Color Tattoo and I smoked out the black eyeshadow in my crease area to meet my highlight. The highlight is the ivory color.

Memorial Day!

I hope everyone enjoyed Memorial Day weekend! I sure did with my family. Here's an outfit post of the outfit I wore on Memorial Day. I just took my younger cousin for lunch and to shop a little with the crazy crowds.

The entire outfit except for the tank top is from Forever 21 and VERY affordable.

Stripes Trend! OUTFIT & MAKEUP

I absolutely adore the stripes trend! Recently got my hands on some striped high-waisted shorts too! Today for a day just to run errands, I threw on this striped shirt with puffy sleeves and red high-waisted shorts.

I wanted to keep the look simple, but refreshing. I wore a complete face with Trace Gold sheer tone blush by MAC as a contour with Pink Passion and Candid Coral (both) by E.L.F. (mixed together for more natural look) for my blush. For my eye look, I used Too Cool (of course from the Maybelline Color Tattoo collection, I'M OBSESSED WITH!) all over my lid, with a medium brown in my crease to keep the look light, but add depth to my eyes. The Too Cool on my lid came be a more youthful with brighter eyes look. With no eyeliner, I just added the dramatic lashes by E.L.F. For my highlight, I used a nude shimmer color.
