Edgy and Casual!

I took the basic graphic tee trend, along with the dark burgandy red trend and tied it all into one! With the booties from my last blog post ... which I'm OBSESSED WITH ... I tied this look together for school. It was a gloomy day, so I did some clever layering. I added a black cardigan under my chambray to stay warm. I kept it really simple on top since the pants were so loud! Let me know what you guys think of this look! Would you rock it?

Fersace ... faux Versace chain prints are the new hit and I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT! Here I made such a loud print more casual! I'm all about taking something fun and trendy and making it more casual since I'm from a small town where no one really dresses up ... except me of course.

Using that Utility Jacket - Military Jacket

I know ... I know ... ANOTHER TREND? ... Military inspired outfits or utility jackets or military jackets ... whatever you call 'em! They're so cute! They act as a neutral and go with ANY fall color ... so why not have one? Here's how I layered up my jacket with a dress! Are you guys liking the military inspired trend?

I couldn't resist a fitted faux leather moto jacket that was on clearance at Nordstorms! I immediately picked it up, a bit snug because it's fitted, but definitely worth getting! I wanted to give a girly trend an edgy look by mixing polka dots and my new moto jacket. It's still pretty warm out here in southern California so I can get away with shorts, but this look works with colored skinnies or just regular denim skinnies! Hope this inspires you to turn girly looks more edgy and vice versa!

Are METALLICS working for you?

Lately metallic clothing has been trending! Now it is common to see wax coated metallic pants or metallic shoes! I jumped into this metallic concept last year, and finally I get to wear it this season! Here's how I made metallics casual with a metallic sweater and metallic shoes... I know, sounds like a lot, but I dressed it down quite a bit to be everyday-friendly. Are you rocking metallics this holiday season?

How are you rockin' skulls these day?

Lately skulls have been an out-RAGING trend! There are tons of skull blouses, scarves, tights, etc! I have fallen IN LOVE with this trend. You can easily make a girly or casual look more edgy with skulls. Here's a quick makeup and outfit of the day I threw together for school that incorporates this skull trend. This is simple enough that ANY girl can rock this look!

With natural makeup, I just added the bright red lip to put some color into the look! Lipstick featured is from Wet 'n Wild, Stoplight Red 911D - These lipsticks are a steal for only $1.97 at my local Wal-Mart!

I was a huge fan of the harem pants trend, but once I got my own pair, I rarely wore them! I put together this simple outfit because harem pants can be a bit too daring for people. I thought this look would suit any girl!

Hearts You!

Here's a simple outfit that will get anyone's attention! Right now printed leggings and jeans are definitely a HUGE trend! And of course, I've fallen for it! I am absolutely in love with these pairs of jeans because the blush pink is so flirty with the cobalt blue hearts. Paired it with a white v-neck and a cobalt blue blazer to bring out the heart details. I want to know what you guys think of the printed bottoms trend!

LORAC PRO PALETTE SAY WHAT?!

Recently got my hands on this bad boy during the Friends and Family sale going on at Sephora (which already ended!). I just wanted to see the hype about it, not that I needed another neutral palette, but I can't complain or say that I'm less than amazed with this palette. The selection of colors is amazing!! Here's a neutral look I did when trying out the palette! The palette is $42 retail, but definitely worth every penny!

Casual Fall Trend: Flannels

Flannels never go out of style. I used to be obsessed with flannels when I was younger. This year, I wanted to use the flannel as an accessory to an outfit and make it my own! I wore this to school today, may I remind you, I leave my house by 6 am, so it's an outfit that's usually thrown together and comfy for my "long-day-wear." Hope you guys get inspiration for your flannels!

Going Crazy for Halloween

I know this is a late look, but I still wanted to share with you guys! Since Halloween was on a school night for me, I stayed in and passed out candy! Even though I stayed in, I still felt the spirit of Halloween so I came up with a smokey look for the occasion. This look can be done with any colors! Hope you guys enjoy!

Nothing gets better than GOLD

I came out with a going out look that's slightly different from the usual gold smokey eye, I always tend to go with. It has a 3-d type look! Hope you guys enjoy!

I added a smokey-ness to the inside corner and finished it on the outside corner also. I also deepened the crease by adding the black lightly to it. Focused the gold on the center of my eye lid! Hope you enjoy. Products used listed below!

NEW PRODUCT ALERT: MAYBELLINE'S THE COLOSSAL VOLUM' EXPRESS, CAT EYES

I'm soooo happy to share this new product with you guys! We all know I'm a falsie fanatic, but this mascara amazes me! I've been seeing commercials like crazy for the new Colossal Volum' Express, which claims to give a more cat eye effect. Not sure if it's true with the cat eye effect, only because I don't have long or full lashes, I have the exact opposite. But this product worked WONDERS for my dinky Asian eyelashes. Of course, I had to get it in waterproof to hold my curl, but I don't regret this random buy! ONLY $5 AT WAL-MART!

I know my eyelashes are still pretty dinky, but this is like amazing for how my eyelashes really look. They're thin  and short. IT SUCKS! But this mascara did the MOST! 

Here Comes the Fall ... Lip !

Hey beauties! I know I've been behind on blogging, but I haven't came across anything blog worthy ... until NOW! I was on a hunt for a new lip for fall and found this gorgeous color! ... Mac's Diva paired with Mac's Burgundy lip liner! I find out of all the lip products I use, I simply adore Mac's lipsticks the most! They are worth the $15 dollar splurge and after wearing this lip look for the night, I know it was definitely worth it! Hope you guys enjoy!

Color the World

I came up with a very settle eye look with some new products I grabbed. I used the new Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fuchsia Fever as a base with a magenta color from the ELF 100 Color Palette with a purple on the outer corner. I tried to keep it settle since I'm just trying out colors. I wish the base had a better consistency because it took a few layers of the product to get an even color, but never the less, I still love the Maybelline Color Tattoo by Eye Studio. I'm about to start school again! That only means early morning classes and less time to get dolled up! This is my default look for the day or night time. (Only difference is at night I usually do a darker smokey look with an addition of black). The Maybelline Color Tattoo by Eye Studio in Bold Gold or even Bad to the Bronze is a quick way to turn up your everyday makeup look! What's so great about these colors is that they're perfect for any season! As we are transitioning into fall, the matte brown gives the soft look, while the gold is self explanatory BOLD GOLD! This quick look allows me to have a full eye look in a matter of seconds! These cream eyeshadows by Maybelline are probably one of my TOP products in my makeup collection.

I absolutely love these Color Tattoo cream eyeshadows! I use them practically everyday whether it's alone or as a base. Some say they compare to the Paint Pots by Mac, but unfortunately I've never tried any except Ocre (since I use that as a eye shadow primer).
